Athletes from near and far travel to Fuschl am See every year to take on the unique challenge of crossing Lake Fuschlsee armed with nothing more than a wetsuit.
This event was created in 2013 by the 4**** Roadbike- and Triathlonhotel Jakob in memory of our friend Peter who tragically died in an accident.
You will be well catered for with the race nutrition from Powerbar, and as the grand finale there will be a large finisher's buffet for all participants.

One competition, two courses
Choose between full distance and half-distance
Competitors can select either the full distance 4,2 km (crossing of Lake Fuschlsee) or the shorter half-distance option 2,1 km, which sees swimmers take to the water in the middle of the lake and swim to the finish.
Participants are limited to 300 - register early to save your starting position!

Important!
- Attention! We released the conditions for participation: For safety reasons, all swimmers must wear wetsuits with long legs and a swim buoy (long sleeve, short sleeve or sleeveless allowed).
- Swim aids such as flippers are not permitted
- Participants take part in the event at their own risk
- All participants are responsible for ensuring that they have the necessary physical fitness to take part; if asked participants must provide a doctor's certificate confirming that they are fit to take part
- The event organisers emphasise that this is an open-water event taking place in Lake Fuschlsee; participants must be aware of the water temperature in the lake
- No liabilityis assumed for theft or incidents such as accidents, illnesses or deaths
- For competitors born between 2014 and 2010, the signature of a parent or guardian must be provided on the registration form
- In the case of poor weather conditions(storms, thunder and lightning) the organising committee reserves the right to change the start time or course, or to cancel the event at short notice
- No refund will be provided on participation fees

Overview of the most important questions
For safety reasons, it is compulsory to wear a wetsuit (with long legs) and an inflatable buoy. The swimming buoy will not be provided.
If the outside temperature and the water temperature are too high for swimming in a wetsuit, we will announce this in consultation with the water rescue service on the day of the event.
The high-quality finisher's buffet is free of charge for participants.
Accompanying persons can take part in the buffet for EUR 30.00. The access wristband is available at the registration desk or directly at Hotel Jakob. No reservation is necessary.
Admission to the Fuschlseebad is free for participants upon presentation of the participant wristband.
Please note that accompanying persons must pay admission to the Fuschlseebad.
You can park conveniently in the paid parking lot opposite the Fuschlseebad.
The starter bag can also be used as a change bag. A sticker with the start number will be handed out at registration to mark the bag.
- Starters of the 2.1 km distance**: Change bags can be handed in at the Fuschlseebad from 12.00 noon.
- Starters of the 4.2 km distance**: Change bags can be handed in shortly before the start at the Hofer Badestrand.
Please make sure that you hand in your change bag in good time to ensure that everything runs smoothly.
The distance can still be changed during registration on the day of the race.
- Up to 4 weeks (01.08.2026) before the event, we will refund the registration fee minus EUR 10.00 processing fee or postpone the starting place to 2027 free of charge.
- Up to 2 weeks (15.08.2026) before the event, we will postpone the starting place to 2026 for a processing fee of EUR 10.00.
- From 2 weeks (16.08.2026) before the event there is no possibility of a refund or free postponement. However, the starting place can still be transferred to another person.
