It is only a 15-minute drive away in Eugendorf (take the A1 motorway towards Salzburg and turn off the motorway at the exit marked Wallersee). There is another ÖAMTC branch in Salzburg (Alpenstraße).
Childcare service: The tourism office in Fuschl has a list of local babysitters.
Changing room for babies:The changing room for babies is located in the ladies' toilets (turn left at the restaurant and go down the stairs). Facilities in the toilet include a changing unit.
Adventure park for children: Erlebnispark Straßwalchen 35 min, Abarena in Abersee 15 min, Urzeitswald in Gosau ca. 55 min, Freizeitpark (Märchen-Familienpark) Ruhpolding (ca. 1h)
Are available at reception (for free).
Generally it is permitted to transport bikes on buses. However, the bus driver has the right to refuse a bike if there is not enough space. Please be aware that the information given by the Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB) is not always reliable. The chances of being able to take your bike on the bus are better if you avoid the busiest times of the day.
Tickets can be purchased directly in the bus with cash only. However, please be aware that will not be able to pay using notes of a large denomination.

You can use the Bundesstraße 158 road towards Hof/Salzburg, then go straight over the roundabout and head into the city.
Alternatively, you can use the Autobahn A1 motorway. Travel along the Bundesstraße 158 towards Hof, then turn right at the roundabout towards Thalgau and follow the signs onto the motorway for Salzburg.

Pharmacy:
The pharmacies in Hof and St. Gilgen (both about 10 min by car) are open all day long.
Chemist:
The closests chemists are in Hof (DM+Bipa), Mondsee (DM) and Eugendorf (DM+BIPA).
Emergency supplies available at reception: toothbrush, toothpaste, razor for wet shaving, shaving foam, nail file.
Dogs are allowed. A fee of €15 (not including food) will be charged. However, please note that dogs are not allowed in the spa, in the restaurant, on our private beach or in the Fuschlseebad leisure centre.

The nearest golf course is at Hotel Waldhof, around 5 minutes by car. There are also golf courses in Mondsee (Drachenwand) and Eugendorf.
There is a supermarket called "Nah und Frisch". Go out of the hotel, turn right and walk down the road. There is also an "Adeg" supermarket. To get there go out of the hotel, turn left and walk up the road. "Nah und Frisch" has a slightly wider selection.
The area round Fuschl am See is perfect for hiking. Mozartblick, Ellmaustein, Eibensee, Schober, Filbling are just a few of the places you should head for.
At reception you will find a free map showing a range of hikes in the local region.

The spa (with sauna and steam bath) is open daily from 4.00 p.m. until 9.30 p.m.
Car-parking facilities are available free of charge for hotel guests (uncovered). There is a garage for motorbikes.
Parkgarage Linzergasse is the closest and easiest car park to get to. Take the Bundesstraße 158 straight to Salzburg. Once you arrive in Salzburg, turn left at the first crossroads and head towards the city centre. Then go straight on at the large crossroads and into a road called "Schallmooser Hauptstraße". After a few hundred metres you will see a sign on your left for "Parkgarage Linzergasse".
Parkgarage Altstadt can be reached by taking the A1 motorway towards Salzburg. Leave the motorway at the exit "Salzburg West" and then follow the route Innsbrucker Bundesstraße – Maxglaner Hauptstraße – Neutorstraße to the Parkgarage Altstadt.
At the end of Fuschl am See, towards St. Gilgen. There is a petrol station (BP) on the left-hand side of the road. There is also a petrol station (Shell) on the right-hand side as you enter the village of Hof, travelling towards Salzburg.
You can take bus 150 (direction Bad Ischl) from Salzburg main train station. This bus stops directly in front of our hotel. The journey takes around 40 minutes and costs around €6.20.
Guests arriving at Salzburg airport must take a city bus to "Mirabellplatz" or the main train station ("Hauptbahnhof"). From there they can take the bus no. 150 to our hotel.

From the train station and from the airport about €75. We're organizing a a pick-up service for our guests from the train station or airport in Salzburg. Each journey costs €80.

There is a wireless internet connection throughout the hotel, garden and in the separate Fuschlerhof guesthouse opposite the hotel. This internet connection can be used FREE of charge by all hotel guests.
