Leana Bissig, born on January 3, 1999, is a Swiss triathlete and a member of the Swiss Triathlon national team. She started her athletic career in swimming before transitioning to triathlon in 2012.
Her biggest achievements include the Swiss Junior Championship title in triathlon and duathlon (2018), a bronze medal at the U20 Duathlon World Championship (2019), and the Swiss Championship title in the sprint distance (2023). Internationally, she impressed with 8th place at the Middle Distance European Championships in Menen and 3rd place at Ironman 70.3 Cascais (2024).
Alongside her professional triathlon career, she has completed a Master’s degree in Health Sciences and Technology at ETH Zurich. She trains with Jordi Meulenberg and Artur Melo and competes for TG Hütten and TSV Amicitia Viernheim in the 1st Bundesliga.
